9th Agrovision, Central India's Biggest Agri Summit

Success Story of 8th Agrovision, Central Indias Biggest Agri Summit
Agrovision, Central Indias Biggest Agri Summit, is the right place to experience the present and plan the future of Indian Agriculture. The 8th edition of Agrovision commenced on 11th November 2016 at Reshimbagh Ground with the focal theme Innovations in Agriculture.
Covering an area of 23,000 sqm, 8th Agrovision was one of the biggest expo in the Agrovision history. Over 400 well known companies from the agri sector participated in the exhibition to showcase their products and services and the expo was visited by lakhs of farmers. With the zealous participation from all the agriculture related factors, this Krishi Pandhari from Vidarbha was concluded on 14 November 2016.
During these 4 days summit, more than 30 Free Workshops were organised on 37 topics to acquaint farmers with the most advanced technologies and help them to develop resourceful practices using the knowledge gained. The farmers had an opportunity to learn from over 45 experts invited from various Agri. Universities, ICAR labs and private organisations where they got the opportunity to share their success stories with thousands of fellow farmers. A specific session was dedicated for questions and answers which allowed the farmers to clarify their doubts and grievances with the experts. The summit was graced by Honble Union Minister of Road Transport, Highways & Shipping, Shri Nitin Gadkari, Honble CM of Maharashtra & Gujarat, Ministers from Central/State Govt., Eminent agriculturalist, Industry Leaders, Policy Makers, Innovators, Academicians, national/international business delegation, Entrepreneurs, Top Level Executives from Corporate, representatives from universities & research institute and lakhs of farmers.
Another highlight of the 8th Agrovision was the One Day Conference on Development of Cotton Hubs and Textile Parks in Vidarbha where the govt. schemes and opportunities were discussed to boost the cotton industry and readymade market prospects for cotton growers from Vidarbh, Marathwada, Khandesh etc.
Special workshop on Coal to Methanol graced by eminent scientist and Honble Member of NITI Aayog, Dr. V.K. Saraswat was conducted along with another workshop on Bamboo Plantation as Agroforestry & Bamboo Industry. Agrovision has been successfully blending technology, business and awareness in all its editions.
