Conference on ‘Opportunities for Dairy Development in Vidarbha’

As a part of Agrovision, a Conference on ‘Opportunities for Dairy Development in Vidarbha’ was organized on 25th December, 2021. Shri Sunil Kedar, Hon’ble Minister of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Govt. of Maharashtra inaugurated the conference and it was presided over by Shri. Meenesh C Shah, Chairman, National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). The other dignitaries participated in the conference were Dr Shyam Jhawar, National Mentor (IVF, Labs under RGM), Dr Atul Dhok, Assistant Prof. Dept. of Animal Nutrition, NVC, Dr Sariput Landge, Assistant Professor, NVC, Nagpur, Dr P G Wasnik, Dean Faculty of Dairy Technology, Organic Milk Production, Dr S K Sahatpure, Dean (LE) MAFSU and Dr C. D. Mayee, Chairman, Agrovision Advisory Council etc.

The Conference was a grand success as more than 1600 farmers attended the program. These sessions were addressed by experts in the field of Dairy Management. It was a platform for discussions among top industry and R&D leaders on the various opportunities and challenges in Dairy and the steps to overcome them. The participants learnt about production, processing, breeding & management, marketing and use of dairy products and developed a broader understanding of Dairy industry and other selected areas.

Conference on ‘Scope For Inland Fisheries in Vidarbha”

A conference on ‘Scope of Inland Fisheries in Vidarbha” was organized on 26th December, 2021 under the guidance of Department of Fisheries, Govt. of India and it received an excellent response. The prominent speakers deliberated on the various scopes and challenges for Fisheries and various schemes for promotion.
